Lupe Fiasco has labelled Barack Obama a 'terrorist' in a recent interview.
The rapper, who released his latest album 'Lasers' earlier this year, claimed that he is 'trying to fight terrorism' with his own music.
In a interview with CBS News, Fiasco criticised US president Barack Obama and America's view on world politics.
"In my fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama, and the United States of America. I'm trying to fight the terrorism that's actually causing the other forms of terrorism.''
He added: "You know, the root cause of terrorism is the stuff that the US government allows to happen, and the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists. And it's easy for us because it's just some oil."
Meanwhile, Lupe Fiasco has said it is unclear whether Child Rebel Solider, his side-project Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, will ever release a full album.
