Amy Winehouse Rushed To Hospital After Falling Ill

Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital at the weekend after falling ill at her home in St Lucia.

The singer was observed overnight by doctors to “check everything was OK”, her spokesman told the Press Association.

Winehouse is understood to have fainted after running around with a group of local children on the Caribbean island.

Although tabloid reports claim the incident took place following a heavy drinking session at Marjorie’s Beach Bar.

Winehouse has been a guest on the island on and off for the past six months.

The singer, who is using a local recording studio to record her third album, is said to be keen to move permanently to St Lucia to escape to temptations of London.

The Rehab star is set to headline the St Lucia Jazz festival this week.
