Pearl Jam are set to return to the studio this year to record new material, frontman Eddie Vedder has said.
Vedder said the group planned to self-release their new album, which will be produced by Brendan O’Brien.
“The new record feels good so far — really strong and uptempo, stuff we can sink our teeth into,” Vedder told Rolling Stone.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Vedder will join Sir Paul McCartney at a benefit concert in New York this April.
Sheryl Crow, Donovan, Paul Horn and Moby are also set to appear at the David Lynch Foundation event at Radio City Music Hall.
