Michael Jackson and self-proclaimed psychic Uri Geller are to launch a joint bid to end the global economic crisis, according to reports.
Geller is said to be keen to install subliminal messages into Jackson's music which will encourage people to have a more positive outlook.
“Uri is convinced the power of positive thought can lift us out of economic gloom,” a source told the Sun newspaper.
“Him and Jacko recorded a spoken-word message and want to put it behind the track so it can penetrate people’s subconscious.”
The psychic, a long-term friend of Jackson, is also reported to have approached Simon Cowell to see if he could install messages on Alexandra Burke's winner X Factor single.
The source added: “His offer was politely declined. But he’s not deterred. He’s vowed to succeed and is determining which releases to target.”
In 2002, Geller famously appointed Jackson an honorary director of Exeter City football club. The psychic has since left his post as co-chairmen.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Jackson is understood to be recording new music alongside US rappers Akon and will.i.am.

- Uri Geller using Michael Jackson's name again. I'm bored.

- I think that you have a good heart stopping the credit crunch

- To put it politely - Bull! After Geller persuaded the very naive Michael to do that documentary with Bashir, who's reputation was well known, or should have been to Geller, he has continued to portray himself as a friend of Michael's, when in truth Michael has been public about quite rightly wanting nothing more to do with him. Geller is often using Michael's name, as do others to get themselves attention. I doubt Michael would have anything to do with this riduculous scheme.

- LOL

- Oh my God... Seriously. It's a fairy tale. AS IF THIS IS TRUE! LMAO. Completely made up, you can just tell someone has made this up.
