The soundtrack to Notorious, the forthcoming movie biopic about the late Notorious B.I.G, will feature rare demo songs by the rapper.
The film's producer, Wayne Barrow, told EW that the unheard tracks will appear in “raw form”.
“This is what got him the [recording] deal, plain and simple. His fans have been asking for it for years,” he said.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the soundtrack, which is released on January 13th via Bad Boy records, will feature a new song by Jay-Z and Santogold entitled 'Brooklyn (Go Hard)'.
Barrow also revealed that as well as catalogue tracks, the album will feature a remix of 1995's 'One More Chance', which includes guest vocals from B.I.G's 12-year-old son Christopher Wallace.
Notorious charts the rapper’s rise to international stardom, which came to a tragic end in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles in 1997. It is released in cinemas in mid-January.
