Placebo To Play Human Trafficking Concert In Cambodia Add to My Fav Bands List

Placebo are to headline a historic concert in Cambodia on December 7th aimed at raising awareness and increasing prevention of human trafficking.

The MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking) concert in Angkor Wat will also feature Duncan Sheik, Kate Miller-Heidke and a host of Cambodia’s biggest recording artists.

In a statement, Placebo said: “We are incredibly proud to perform at this important concert.

“We hope that through our music and involvement in this event and the MTV EXIT campaign that millions of people learn about this tragic form of slavery.”

The concert will be the first time that the Angkor Wat temple, which was used in the Tomb Raider films, has hosted a rock event.

Placebo are currently mixing their sixth studio album in London.

  • there is no tickets! Thats the problem, only on invitation... quite a shame.. so many expats / fans that are not on the list!
