Amy Winehouse’s record label, Universal, have said that they’re deeply disappointed with a video which appears to show the singer taking drugs.
In a statement to the BBC, they said: "We are deeply disappointed and upset by these latest revelations and are doing everything we can to offer Amy our full support in dealing with her problems."
The label are the first official source to respond to the story, which first appeared in today’s Sun newspaper.
Winehouse’s agent has yet to react to the paper’s claims that Winehouse can be seen taking a combination of drugs – including, crack, cocaine and powdered ecstasy – in the video.
According to the Sun, the video was shot at Winehouse’s flat in East London hours before she attended the court hearing of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.
In an unrelated case, the singer is due back in court in Norway next month to appeal against a drugs fine.
