Bjork has shared the spellbinding new video for Vulnicura track 'Lionsong'. Check it out below.
Vulnicura receives its full physical release next week after its leak and digital release earlier this year - and to celebrate it finally landing on shelves, the Icelandic wonder has unveiled a beautiful new clip (premiered on Noisey).
Drawing on the naturalistic elements of her Vulnicura costume, the visuals for 'Lionsong' are as sensual and foreboding as the track itself - drawing on the imagery of her wounded open heart following her split from longterm partner and artist Matthew Barney (the muse behind the album).
"Björk’s character for 'Lionsong' had to be smooth like a spider waiting in her web and seductive like a Balinese dancer cast in bronze," said directors Inez and Vinoodh. "She is seen as if under a microscope, baring her heart while luring us inside the bloody galaxy of her own wound.”

Bjork recently performed her first live gig of 2015 at New York's Carnegie Hall - the same city as her bold and brilliant new exhibition at MoMA (read our review here).
