As if you needed much more proof of Josh Homme's standing as one of the greatest frontmen in rock today, here's a video of the Queens Of The Stone Age performing an acoustic version of 'Long Slow Goodbye'.
The performance was part of MTV's Soundchain with Zane Lowe, which was broadcast earlier this week.
As well as discussing his influences, inspiration and the stories behind the music, Homme also performed this gut-wrenching acoustic rendition of the Lullabies To Paralyze classic. Zane Lowe stares on, looking pretty emotional - is he on the verge of a breakdown, a revalation or both?

The clip comes from the same show in which Homme hit out at his kids' love of One Direction.
"I refuse to be a musical snob at this point with my kids, you know what I mean, if they wanna listen to One Direction, go for it man," Lowe said at one point, before Homme replied: "Yeah I mean that’s not necessarily my direction. I try and shy it away to a different direction because I have to drive the car too! And like, do you want it to go over a cliff or do you want it to go to school?! You decide, you’re eight!"
Meanwhile, QOTSA are set for a huge Halloween extravaganza gig in the US at the end of the month with The Kills and former bassist Nick Oliveri. For tickets and more information, visit here.
