Current Struggles

While 2025 was a year to be remembered by both Team Vitality and the world of Esports alike, their Counter Strike team is not without flaws. Being hot favorites to win the 2025 Starladder by Budapest Major is not going according to plan. The best team in CS was taken down, 13-7, by team FaZe at Stage 3 of the tournament. This loss is a major surprise considering that FaZe started their participation at the Starladder Budapest Major at Stage 1, while Team Vitality was invited directly to Stage 3. TV has had an amazing year in 2025, but their star studded roster has started to show signs of cracking under pressure, and it happened at the worst possible moment.

A team that has won both Majors this season, now will face adversity, and will have to show more than they already have during the year, to get back to winning ways, and possibly wrap up the best year in CS history. Yes, they’ve stumbled early on, but with the stage not yet being closed, we expect them to get back to their best form, as they have so many times in the past.
