An obvious modern Kasabian-esque 60s stomp leads the charge into ‘All I Can’ by Clocks. With lyrics about, yes, getting the girl, vocalist Tom Hewitt sings predictably: “You’re dazzlingly pretty/Sparkle in the city.” As the chorus elegantly forces its way through, there is something rather engaging and catchy that sticks - as a classic pop gem should. Yet, it is a pale attempt however by another band to create something new and exciting, when in the long run it merely exposes the unoriginality behind the bands sound.
