Proving they’re not a casualty of the indie Britpop renaissance that occurred during the mid-noughties, Kaiser Chiefs filled South London’s O2 Academy Brixton like it was 2005 last week (8 February). 

Splitting the setlist fairly evenly between their ever-expanding back catalogue, Ricky Wilson and co also honoured a large chunk of Employment, their debut record which is now almost 14 years old. With ‘Everyday I Love You Less And Less’ still a staple at their live shows, the same can’t be said for us. Our photographer James Polley captured the action in the gallery below:
