Lifted from Supergrass' superb album 'Road to Rouen', 'Fin' is a still wintry landscape of a track, that makes for a highly pleasurable listen and may even escape artist detection. With plinky-plonk chilled electronica and delicate jingle-jangles from guitar, the singer is given kaleidoscopic psyche-affects whilst singing a tender love song about "...leave your light on tonight...a lonely road to the promised land...it's along way home...", the song deftly interwoven with the melody - a snug fireside of a track, reflective by turns. A track that possesses crisp cold clarity, like the frosting of the wintry soils. The download will feature a Dave Erringa mix of 'Fin', whilst a BBC live Version of 'Fin' will feature on the coloured vinyl 7". Well worth bagging.
