Camp sensibly: Unlike Reading, Leeds or most major UK festivals, there's no real separation between the camping and music areas - so you can essentially camp more or less anywhere you like. But if you think that camping as close to the Pyramid Stage or near the other huge attractions is a good idea, you're wrong. Areas of high footfall attract crazy levels of noise and a whole lot of mud. Choose wisely.

Ladies and gentlemen, after months of waiting and anticipation, Glastonbury festival is just under a month away. The festival to top all festivals; and the one which issurrounded by more hype and speculation than any other. People from across the world carry out a pilgrimage to this most holy of festivals year in, year out. And yet, it's quite possible, quite likely even, that *whisper it* you've never been.
If this is true, and you've somehow managed to be successful in the desperate scramble for tickets, then fear not. We are about to release you of all your cares and concerns with this handy list, or bible if you will, of things you really ought to know before you pop on your Primark wellies and head out to Somerset.
