The surprise announcement of Metallica as headliners at this years Glastonbury festival has certainly got a few tongues wagging. Many support the rock giants headlining and others are simply bamboozled by the choice. They see the band as far too heavy for Glasto, thinking they'll kill all the flowery hippy vibes at the Westcountry festival.
Needless to say the music world has also begun to speak up and as expected they're just as divided as the general public. The consensus is one of surprise from all corners, but while some of these artists will be no doubt joining the mosh pit, the others will probably be at the back scratching their heads.
We however think Metallica are going to rock the festival regardless of what anyone thinks.
