- It will awaken metal from its slumber: With each of their albums since Aenima the band have scored a No.1 on the Billboard top 200. This is something that a metal album has not managed to repeat for many many years. Not to mention it will do wonders for guitar music to have an album from a band as amazing as Tool at the top of the charts once again. The band also took headline slots at huge festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza. Meaning if their was any band that was going to help usher in the mythical return of guitar music, it's Tool.

Are you looking to buy a home? Do you have $2.8 million, friends in Los Angeles and a deep adoration for cult alt-metal bands? Well, you're in luck. Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has just put his crib on the market.
The musician's soon-to-be-former home is in Beachwood, an affluent and exclusive neighbourhood in Los Angeles, as reported by Curbed, who er, describe it as "hideous". Judging from the pictures, the Mediterranean-style home has certainly had what we'll describe as a "personal touch" added to it by Keenan, who actually studied interior design. Maybe he'll release his own line of soft furnishings soon?
Meanwhile, Tool have risen from typically mysterious dormancy to embark on a 2014 tour, which they kicked off in Washington on March 4. The band have recently had to deny reports work on their much-anticipated fifth album is finally finished.
