Bless Liam Gallagher. He certainly talks a good game. Describing the second album from Beady Eye, the loudest mouth in rock said: "It's rock 'n' roll, but fired into space. If you’re into drugs, you’ll like it. It’s pretty druggy man."

We however, disagree. In our review of BE, we said: "The world doesn't really need this album. The musicians involved didn't really need to make it, yet people will buy it, and some of them will like it. I myself look forward to the "magic" of record number three with very little anticipation."

Since the release of their lukewarm debut Different Gear Still Speeding, Beady Eye have split opinion between die-hard Gallagher devotees and those who think his mouth should stop writing cheques that his music can't cash.
