Watch: Mariah Carey premieres video for Miguel duet, '#Beautiful'

Singer sways around on a motorcycle in opening scene

  • Sugababes: The original line up of the Sugababes (Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan) were notoriously bitchy and would constantly row behind the scenes. The majority of the tension reportedly came from Mutya and Keisha''s close relationship which often left to Siobhan feeling isolated. The two girls also created a special language they would use to bitch about Siobhan, which can''t have helped relations much either. The three girls are back together now, with all fingers crossed they have put the past behind them and can move forward minus the fights.

Mariah Carey has premiered the new video for her duet with R&B star Miguel, '#Beautiful'.

The clip debuted during the semi-finals of American Idol US, which has Mariah as a judge on the panel alongside Nicki Minaj. The video for '#Beautiful' was directed by Joseph Khan, who has previously worked with Kylie Minogue, Maroon 5 and Nicole Scherzinger, among others.

'#Beautiful' shows Mariah on a motorcycle with Miguel, and later dancing for him in front of a car while he sits and watches.

While it's a little awkward at times, and features plenty of writhing around from Mariah in clothes she'll catch her death in, the song is certain to be a success among her fans.

'#Beautiful' is expected to be on Mariah's upcoming new album, which will be a follow-up to 2009's Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

Speaking about the album to Billboard in March, Mariah said there are a "lot more raw ballads than people might expect," and added, "Wherever we go with this project, I've tried to keep the soul and heart in it."
