X Factor winner James Arthur has hit out at reports in The Sun newspaper that he paid two female escorts to perform a lesbian sex show at his home.
This morning The Sun reported a kiss-and-tell story from a young woman claiming she and a fellow escort were paid to come to his flat and perform a sex act on the singer while he kept his jacket, shirt, cap and socks on.
Arthur took to Twitter this morning to deny the claims, writing: “Apologies to those of my fans reading lies about me today. This is just another attempt by The Sun to assassinate the character of someone trying to do something positive with his life.
“It’s pure slander so I fight back sorry.”
Arthur even proved he had a sense of humour about the report, tweeting "I have f**king great feet too! Haha I'm doing my whole UK tour wearing only my guitar."

In March The Sun reported that beauty therapist Danielle Withey was invited to the star’s flat for sex and that she claimed he kept his socks on.
