Michael Jackson's family are apparently convinced that AEG hired a Michael Jackson lookalike in order to promote his final shows.
The concert promoter AEG Live is currently in a $40billion lawsuit with the Jackson family, as they are suing for wrongful damages. The Jacksons are now claiming that AEG hired a body double of Jackson to promote his final shows at the O2 before his death in June 2009.
The family believe that AEG used the double to announce the concerts at the O2, as well as in videos showing him rehearsing for his tour as they do not think he was fit enough to execute the dance moves.
A source told the Daily Star, "Paris and Prince and their grandmother believe a fake Michael was involved. They have hired detectives to track him down."
Body language expert Bianca Cobb seemingly agrees, as she told Fox News, "In my opinions, the man in the clips isn't Michel Jackson. The walk is cockier and had more bounce than MJ's typical stride. He tended to walk with his head down."
However, AEG have denied the claim while Sony - who released the Michael Jackson This Is It movie - said, "Every frame is undeniably Michael."
Michael Jackson announcing his final shows at the O2 - or is it?
AEG are soon to be on trial over Michael Jackson's death, with Katherine Jackson seeking $40billion over the hiring of Dr Conrad Murray.
The 12 jurors - consisting of six men and six women - were sworn in on 22 April and the trial is expected to last for at least two months. Six further jurors have also been selected as alternative jury members, should any need replacing.
