The Neighbourhood stream debut album, I Love You

Listen: it's one of our favourite albums of the year so far, listen to the US band's epic debut album now

  • Bastille - Bad Blood: What more can be said about this album? One of the best-selling records in our list having achieved the No.1 slot in the UK albums charts and deservedly so. Bad Blood is wonderfully unique and manages to blur the lines between mainstream and alternative music. Piano, strings and an appealing vocal make for one of the best albums of the year.

The Neighbourhood have made their debut album I Love You available for fans to stream through Soundcloud - listen to it below.

The album includes the Californian band's breakout track 'Sweater Weather', as well as previously released single 'Female Robbery' - and continues their Lana Del Rey-esque sound of r&b mixed with a punk aesthetic.

The Neighbourhood recently performed at Coachella festival, and are set to hit the UK in May for five dates - including one at London's Heaven.

Speaking to This Is Fake DIY about the London concert, drummer Bryan Sammis said, "We love playing London, so it’ll be cool to come back with an actual album out, and to see what the response is like then."

Listen to the album below:

Sammis continued, "Somewhere so far from home, the first time we sold it out was insane! It’s really humbling, and I’m definitely excited to come back. I think, without stirring – and not to bash on our US fans - people in the UK kind of give a s**t a little more. It’s constant; I feel like every time we play the UK - London in particular - people are huge music fans.

"In London I feel like people are coming out to see us excited, and it’s a little more evident. People really give a s**t about the music that they like and care about over here."
