Simon Cowell's worst crimes against music: his biggest pop mistakes

Throughout his long and established career as a fully-fledged music mogul, Simon Cowell has nurtured some of the biggest talents across the globe and his wisdom has turned them into multi-platinum selling artists.

Thanks to his string of reality shows, Cowell has been at the forefront when it comes to unearthing new talent, but he must have made some mistakes along the way, right?

Everyone makes mistakes and the returning X Factor judge is certainly no different. Although, we're sure he would argue that even some of the artists in this list still managed to sell millions of records, but that's not always the point.

As one of his many TV talent shows (Britain's Got Talent) returns to screens this weekend, take a look through our gallery to see Simon Cowell's most criminal pop decisions. Some of these are well worth time spent behind metaphorical musical bars.
