Rumours have surfaced online that Daft Punk are set to premiere a brand new single titled 'Fun Radio' on French radio on Monday, 15 April.

French artist, Life Like revealed via his Twitter account that the electro duo are ready to finally unveil their first full track to come from their eagerly awaited album Random Access Memories.

Life Like tweeted: "Good news, our french robots DaftPunk will premiere their new single next week on the french radio 'Fun Radio', i didnt say anything :)".

The French DJ also added: "Monday ... Fun Radio ... DP premiere ..."

Although this is just one man's Twitter opinion, Daft Punk fans will be encouraged by a visit to Life Like's official website which states, "his two first records instantly gained support from the biggest international artists and DJ's like THOMAS BANGALTER (Daft Punk), DJ Falcon or Pete Tong (Radio One/BBC)."

If there rumours are true then we can expect to hear Daft Punk's new single 'Fun Radio' very soon as their comeback finally starts to gather pace before the May 21 release of Random Access Memories.

Could Daft Punk be about to premiere a brand new single?

The buzz surrounding the electro duo's current comeback means that fans are willing to believe almost anything and so far Daft Punk have been quick to deny a number of live date rumours this year after news spread that they could be performing at Coachella and T in the Park.

Interestingly, there have been no official denials as yet as to whether we will hear our first Daft Punk single of the year. Here's to hoping.
