The Sunday Times rich-list has been revealed, and the bank balances of the biggest names in British music has once again proven a humbling experience. Find out who is worth the most here.

Just when you thought the working week couldn't get much harder after a long and freezing winter, now appears to be the perfect time to press our envy buttons and tell us just how rich some of the biggest names in music are.

From a list that includes the likes of Sir Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and Sir Elton John, we've taken the top ten music stars from the The Sunday Times Rich List which ranges from stars being worth around £180million to a whopping £680million. The 25th anniversary list will be published in the Sunday Times on April 21.

Take a look through our gallery to see the wealthiest people in the music world and look out for a surprise entry from an Irish dancer worth £191million.
