James Blake has opened up about the moral support he received from producer Brian Eno while crafting his second album.

Eno - who is behind tracks from U2, Roxy Music and Talking Heads - was more than willing to listen to Blake over a cup of tea, according to the young dubstep star.

Blake said, "I was very much needing support when I was making this record. I needed to talk to somebody about it, and I wanted someone who had seen a lot of albums come by, and Brian was one of those people.

"We had some tea, got on well and listened to music. It was therapeutic."

The star also spoke of the different direction the new album is taking, explaining: "It's more of a positive look and a less inward record."

However, the 24 year old remains a grounded figure and puts his attitude down to still being surrounded by close friends from his youth. He explains: "I've still got the same mates as when I started, I'm still playing live shows with the two friends that I did when I started. The monitor guy is someone I've known since I was six years old and that all helps. "

Blake's new album, entitled Overgrown, is the follow up to his self titled, Mercury Prize nominated debut.
