2 April, 2013: Is it too soon to use the term 'superstar' when discussing Emeli Sande? With just one album under her belt, the Scottish singer has become one of the biggest female singers in the UK, and is currently on tour.

Perhaps we should hold off on big terms like that until she's recorded a follow-up, but debut album Our Version Of Events was one of the biggest selling albums in the UK in 2012, and even our Gigwise photographer gushed over the 'Next To Me' singer's Manchester gig, saying "She was sensational."

Sande may not have the stage theatrics of her flashier female rivals, but Sande has it where it counts - a voice to melt hearts and a collection of stunning modern pop hits.

Check out photos of her Mancehster O2 Apollo gig here.
