- The Supremes: It was the president of Motown, Berry Gordy's huge admiration of Diana Ross that caused ill feeling from founding member Florence Ballard. The Supremes grew in popularity in the mid 60s and Gordy renamed the group Diana Ross and The Supremes and replaced Ballard with Cindy Birdsong in 1967. Ross left the group in 1970 in search of solo success and Ballard fell into a deep depression, dying penniless in 1976 a year before the remaining Supremes broke up.

Following the confirmation that Girls Aloud have called time on their ten year career, there have been many stories concerning why that would be and who in the band has fallen out with each other.
While publicly things appear to be remaing as amicable as possible there have been an odd occasion of a group member putting the boot into another. Sarah Harding put the arguing on their final tour down to being grown up and opinionated. But then couldn't resist saying that: "Me and Nadine are music orientated. The others are more about dancing."
Nadine had in fact fueled the fire by tweeting following the after the split stating: "I couldn't stop them." The other girls have moved to play down Nadine's outburst but the paper over the cracks is beginning to wear away and there will be more interesting revelations to come.
