Band splits of 2013: My Chemical Romance, Girls Aloud and more

Bands who are never ever getting back together

However, not all of the girls were in agreement, with Nadine Coyle posting on Twitter, "You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn't stop them. I had the best time & want to keep going."

While we've had more than our fair share of band reunions this year, we've also already had splits - with some hitting harder than others.

It seemed like Girls Aloud had barely been back together before the 'Love Machine' ggroup were announcing that this time, it's actually over - despite what Nadine Coyle may or may not want. But they're not the only ones; it's getting harder and harder for bands to stay together this year, and some of them aren't even generous enough to give us a farewell tour.

Emo kings My Chemical Romance are going their separate ways as well - and that's not to mention a whole host of other bands, and members, choosing to leave... and it's still only March.

If you feel like mourning the past, then take a look through our gallery, where we've rounded up the splits and quits of 2013 so far. Don't worry - ten more years and we're sure they'll be heading out on a reunion tour.
