Bands who are never ever getting back together

Streetlight Manifesto: While insistent that they're not actually breaking up, Streetlight Manifesto announced this year that they are "turning the last page of this particular chapter of our lives." This means that they are planning on touring a lot less, saying on their website, "We are done being a full-time touring band, but not done as a band."

While we've had more than our fair share of band reunions this year, we've also already had splits - with some hitting harder than others.

It seemed like Girls Aloud had barely been back together before the 'Love Machine' ggroup were announcing that this time, it's actually over - despite what Nadine Coyle may or may not want. But they're not the only ones; it's getting harder and harder for bands to stay together this year, and some of them aren't even generous enough to give us a farewell tour.

Emo kings My Chemical Romance are going their separate ways as well - and that's not to mention a whole host of other bands, and members, choosing to leave... and it's still only March.
