21 March, 2013: Biffy Clyro's Opposites tour hit Birmingham last night as the three-piece rock band hit the city's LG Arena.

Their last album Opposites brought the group their first nNo.1 record after having been narrowly denied with previous releases.

In interviews the group confessed that the making of the album nearly tore the band apart as they tried to manage personal tragedies, alcoholism and their creative output at the same time.

The band will headline this year's Reading and Leeds festivals alongside Fall Out Boy, Greenday and Eminem.

The band hit Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena tonight, and will continue their tour of the UK until the start of April.
