20 brilliant albums of 2013: albums we already love from this year

The Neighbourhood, Peace, C2C and more

  • Peace - In Love: An album that manages to be something completely fresh whilst evoking nostalgic glances towards the likes of Oasis and The Cure to deliver brilliantly indie and even dance floor friendly anthems. One of the most hotly tipped bands of 2013 and the album doesn't disappoint.

OK, so the year is less than three months old, but 2013 has already treated us to some amazingly addictive albums and somebody needs to keep track of all the best albums for you, right? So far, we have been lucky to see some of the most hotly tipped artists come up with the goods in the record department and long may it continue.

Although it's only March, we've gathered a list of 20 of our favourite albums of the year and if these are anything to go by, 2013 looks set to be a truly memorable year across all music genres.

In a time where it seems people are no longer afraid to dip into different genres and open their minds to different varieties of alternative music, the list consists of indie, electro, hip-hop, folk and even a bit of pop depending on where you would place Bastille's No.1 album Bad Blood.

Take a look through our gallery to see if you agree with our favourite albums of 2013 - so far.
