12 March 2013: The Lumineers have enjoyed a spectacular rise over the past six months, with the word-of-mouth success of their 'Ho Hey' single propelling the band to international acclaim.

The band have not just picked up fans from London gig-goers however and their rise to fame has not gone unnoticed by music mogul and X Factor boss Simon Cowell, who has publicly spoken of his love for the band's breakthrough hit 'Ho Hey' on Twitter.

Last night, the Colorado band performed a headline show at London's Brixton Academy, performing tracks from their debut. self-titled album. It's unlikely that Simon Cowell was in the audience, but you never know.
