Belgian electro outfit, Goose have revealed that they would do things for Daft Punk that they wouldn't do for their closest friends if it meant a shot at touring with the French duo.

Goose's lead singer Mickael Karkousse admitted that working with Daft Punk in any form 'would mean the world' to his band.

Karkousse told Gigwise: "If we could do that [work with Daft Punk] in the future, that would mean the world to us or if we could support them or something.

"I would even carry their suitcases. I wouldn't do that for my closest friends but for them, I would.

"We had our hands on their tracks once because we did a remix for one of their Tron album tracks. For us that was one of the highlights of our careers."

Goose are back with new album Control Control Control

Although Karkousse is a huge fan of Daft Punk and can't wait for their 2013 comeback to reach its climax, he did reveal that it was time for the French duo to stop teasing fans with odd clips here and there.

He added: "I think we have heard enough about it, we have read enough about it and now it's time to hear some music.

"That's always the thing with Daft Punk, everybody is so anxious to hear it. Enough bulls**t and let me see some music."

Daft Punk are yet to announce release dates for their new material, although in 2012 the date 13/3/13 was teased, which could indicate an official premiere this week.

Goose have blurred the lines between electronic and rock music with the forthcoming release of their third studio album Control Control Control which is out in the UK on 15 April 2013.
