Will Prince headline Glastonbury 2013 and who else is likely?

The most rumoured acts for this year's festival

  • Thom Yorke - Probably: Thom Yorke has appeared unannounced to the last two Glastonbury festivals to play surprise sets, and has made no secret of how much he likes the festival. On Monday he told Zane Lowe that Atoms For Peace wouldn't be playing the festival, but that parts of the band would appear. That essentially means either Yorke or Flea will be playing in some capacity, and most likely indicates that Radiohead will be filling a headline spot as has been speculated for some time.

If today's tabloid reports are to be believed, Prince is looking likely to be the first confirmed headliner at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The Purple Rain star has reportedly booked three dates at the Montreaux Jazz festival in July, after the Glastonbury weekend at the end of June.

He had been targeted to appear at the 2011 festival, but it fell apart when the singer refused to confirm his appearance any more than six weeks ahead of the festival.

The 2011 event was instead headlined by U2, Coldplay and Beyonce.

Other potential acts for this year's festival include The Rolling Stones and Radiohead, and Alt-J appeared to accidentally confirm their attendence when they mentioned they were 'playing Glastonbury' during a post-BRITs interview. But who will be the big names of Glastonbury 2013? Check out the bands and artists currently in the mix in the Glasto rumour mill
