We might still be waiting for the Glastonbury annoucement, eagerly speculating about who the headline acts may be, but we already know who's going to be gracing the stage at many other of 2013's biggest festivals.

This year's already shaping up to be the year of returning legends, with My Bloody Valentine releasing new material for the first time in 22 years, Snoop Dogg (Lion) reinventing himself and Blur eternally playing one more last gig.

The festival lineups reflect this, too, with the likes of Bon Jovi, Elton John and Nick Cave & The Bad Seed all representing for music's aging legends.

But that's not to say that music's young pretenders aren't getting in on the act, with Jay-Z, Rihanna and Snoop Dogg all set to appear at big festivals this year.

Gigwise takes a look at which headliners have already been confirmed and where they'll be playing.
