Forget Valentine's day: worst rock 'n' roll break-ups
Who needs love? Not these couples...
- Love doesn't exist, this was well proven last month when veteran art-rock couple Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon announced their split after being married since 1984. And if their band Sonic Youth are forced to break up under the strain of divorce proceedings between the frontman and frontwoman then Good Music will cease to exist too. RIP Love. RIP Good Music.

It's okay to be miserable on Valentine's day if you're single - after all, it's difficult to avoid the roses, hearts and terrible jokes that start trending on Twitter.
However, let's not forget the words of wisdom shared with us by Adele - "Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead." And for these couples, it seems that the latter is true. Yes, love doesn't always last - and that goes for celebrities, as well as that annoying couple you saw this morning engaging in PDA.
