Watch: The Weeknd debuts NSFW new video for 'Twenty Eight'

Clip shows him watching girls in a strip club

  • Jay Z is said to be writing the soundtrack to the Great Gatsby film: We can't think of anything better than Jay Z penning the songs for the soundtrack to the hotly anticipated film adaptation of 'The Great Gatsby'. Post-world war one literary brilliance meets Brooklyn rapper and mega producer. Amazing.

The Weeknd has revealed the new video for single 'Twenty Eight', and it's definitely not safe to watch at work.

The clip sees the r&b star - real name Abel Tesfaye - being interviewed, before watching strippers perform at a strip club, and paying very little attention either.

There is also the image of a girl sat on a bed which seems to haunt The Weeknd throughout the video.

'Twenty Eight' is a bonus track to the previous release Trilogy, which is a collection of the star's mixtapes - House Of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes Of Silence.

The Weeknd recently hinted that a new album in 2013 could be a very real possibility after posting a photo of his computer desktop. The r&b star took to Twitter in order to share the photo, captioning it simply '2013'.

In the picture, two folders are visible on the desktop, one titled '2013 art work' and the other '2013 untitled album'. Looking likely, then.

The Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye - also posted a somewhat more cryptic tweet in December last year, writing, "you bout to lose me for a bit. i'm bout to get back on my s**t."

The Weeknd will be undertaking a UK tour in March. Full tour dates below. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
