In the latest imaginative release of music merchandise, Sigur Ros have revealed that they're selling an Icelandic candle in their online store. Yes, for just £14.99, you can evoke Iceland in your own back room - although whatever music you make probably won't sound half as good.

The candle is described as, "The smoky, slightly briny smell of a flotsam campfire on a distant black beach under a wan midnight sun. And, most recently, the smell of Sigur Rós's studio, while they go about the quasi-mystical business of making the magic happen. Specially developed to the band's olfactory specifications, this candle burns for 35 evocative hours of "instant Iceland", or something like that."

While a candle is slightly stranger than the usual band t-shirt or limited edition vinyl, it's not even close to the weird merchandise that some bands have come up with. From Rammstein sex toys to KISS coffins, check out the strangest stuff right here...
