Poor old Beyonce. A flawless performance at the Super Bowl tarnished by her representatives' attempts to ban all unflattering photos of the star online. Now, the 'Single Ladies' superstar has been mocked online as a photo of her as She Hulk has been spread online.

After a stunning, energetic performance at Sunday night (3 February, 2013) a number of unflattering images appeared online, capturing the singer's face in less than flattering moments.

Now, internet jokers have compared Beyonce to Marvel comics character She Hulk, the lawyer cousin of The Hulk, who has less anger issues than her relative - but just as many pigment problems. An image of a green Beyonce has been spread widely online, showing the singer with enlarged arms and legs.

Beyonce has often been called 'super-human', but She Hulk is a new one

One of the few women on the planet who no one could ever call ugly, Beyonce shouldn't be offended.

Despite the whole 'green' thing, She Hulk is a hugely sexual presence in the Marvel universe - and when she's not fighting crime and pummelling bad guys, also holds down a full time job as a lawyer. She fits perfectly into the 'Independent Women' ideal Beyonce has long promoted.
