Want to hear the new Foals album ahead of its release next Monday? Then get yourself to www.foals.co.uk tonight at 8:30pm, where it will be streamed in full.

The band will give the public three full live plays of Holy Fire tonight (7 February, 2013). The album is released on Monday, 11 February. After the triple streaming tonight, it will disappear from the website, leaving fans just three days to wait until the band's third album is released on Monday.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, frontman Yannis Philippakis discussed the band's return, saying that guitar bands had always been there, and that the crop of exciting new guitar bands in 2013 was not a resurgence in the guitar scene.

"There's always going to be guitar bands; it's whether some programmer or media hobnob in West London decides to say whether it's in or not. It's just to do with the transparency of it rather than how exciting it is," he told Digital Spy.

"Often the most exciting moments in guitar music are when there's no attention on it. Burial was putting stuff out when there wasn't this supposed dubstep/electronic monopoly. When people say, 'It's the reign of the guitar band', that's when the worst records get put out."

Foals are set to mentor a new generation of indie bands in March of this year, as they take part in a new venture by the Royal Albert Hall, in which they will give expert advice to budding musicians.

Speaking of the venture, Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis says: "The Royal Albert Hall suggested we get involved in their education programme to supplement our gigs there and we thought it sounded like a grand idea.

"I would have loved a similar opportunity when I was younger - I had a pretty weird taste in music but always looked to my favourite bands for inspiration. It will be a fun day and hopefully the kids will learn something of use"
