Toni Braxton's new face: following in Lil Kim's footsteps?

Star is the latest to have work done

It seems Lil Kim's new - and slightly terrifying - face has set a trend for female music stars. Toni Braxton debuted her own new look yesterday, at the screening of her new Lifetime movie, Twist of Faith.

While not quite up to the same shocking standards as Lil Kim, Toni's face still retains that plastic look. While it's more subtle than the work Lil Kim had done (although that sadly isn't saying much), there's the definite feeling that something isn't quite right.

Although perhaps most worrying is the dead-behind-the-eyes look that also seems to be in place. Do we need to stage an intervention?

Check out the photos for yourself here.
