Fall Out Boy have announced their 2013 reunion, premiered a new single and revealed details of a new album and live shows.

Despite band members previously denying the news, the band have now admitted that they are reuniting - although they refuse to call it a reunion as they 'never broke up' - and that their new album will be called Save Rock and Roll.

The album is already available to pre-order and will be available worldwide from 6 and 7 May.

The band have also posted a new song on YouTube, titled 'My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Let Em Up)'.

In a statement posted on the website, Fall Out Boy write, "when we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. its why we started fall out boy in the first place. this isn't a reunion because we never broke up.

"we needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us. the future of fall out boy starts now. save rock and roll..."
