Beyonce world tour revealed before star's announcement

LiveNation release poster for The Mrs. Carter Show world tour

  • New material: What better opportunity to debut a new song than to an audience of - on average- 80-90 million people? The star apparently has two new albums planned for 2013, so it wouldn't be too difficult for her to play just a little teaser of what could be coming our way.

It looks like news of a forthcoming Beyonce world tour has leaked thanks to a promotional poster revealed by a ticket website.

Ticketing site LiveNation informed the world of Beyonce’s plans before the singer had a chance to when they released a promotional poster advertising the tour that still hasn’t been announced.

The poster sees the ‘Crazy In Love’ singer decked out in regal attire, covered in jewellery, next to the words ‘The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’.

Beyonce had already hinted that she had some news to announce during her Super Bowl press conference.

“I may have an announcement after the performance. Fans should stay tuned to see,” she said.

The name of the tour might suggest that the tour could see guest appearances from her husband Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter.

This weekend will see Beyonce perform at the Super Bowl half time show, and apparently she’s thrown herself in to rehearsals after coming under fire for singing to a backing track at the inauguration.

Beyonce also used the press conference to demonstrate that she had no problem singing the National Anthem live, putting in an impromptu performance.

There had been the suggestion that she’d be joined by her Destiny’s Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, for her performance but those rumours have since been denied.

Michelle Williams suggested there was no truth to them when she said she was signed up for musical Fela! on the same date.
