A former assistant who is attempting to sue Lady Gaga has been dismissed as a ‘hood rat’ by the singer who claims she was unqualified for her job.

Jenifer O’Neill is suing the ‘Bad Romance’ singer for $393,000 (£248,000), plus additional damages for 7,168 hours of overtime she claims she worked for the singer between early 2009 and March 2011.

But a deposition video obtained by the New York Post shows Gaga calling o’Neill a “f**king hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn.”

Gaga also argued that none of her staff get paid overtime because they actually work “a 9-to-5 job that is spaced out throughout the day.”

Speaking in the deposition Gaga said: “This whole case is bulls**t, and you know it.

“I’m quite wonderful to everybody that works for me, and I am completely aghast to what a disgusting human being that you have become to sue me like this,” she continued.

“She slept in Egyptian cotton sheets every night, in five-star hotels, on private planes, eating caviar, partying with [photographer] Terry Richardson all night, wearing my clothes, asking YSL [Yves Saint Laurent] to send her free shoes without my permission, using my YSL discount without my permission.”

The pop star added that the $75,000-a-year job O’Neill had with her “was essentially a favour, and Jennifer was majorly unqualified for it.”

She added: “I’m going to give all the money that she wants to my employees that work hard for me now that deserve it. I’m not going to give it to her so she can go to Intermix and buy herself a new tube top.”

Gaga says her ex-PA didn't appreciate the luxury she enjoyed

The singer and her former PA allegedly fell out when O’Neill insisted on sleping in one of two beds on a private planes from France to America, and then refusing to allow anyone else on the plane to use one of her three pillows.

“When your best friend looks you in the eye and says, ‘Why can’t I have that seat on your private plane, I’m your friend’, the first thing I thought was, ‘You’re not my f**king friend. Your are not my f**king friend’,” Gaga said.
