Blur and the Stone Roses are among the big name bands confirmed for this year's Coachella Festival in April, 2013.

The festival's official website has confirmed that the bands will be headlining on Friday 12 April and 19 April. Phoenix will headline on Saturday 13 April and 20 April, while Red Hot Chili Peppers will be headlining on Sunday 14 April and 21 April.

The Postal Service also put a stop to the reunion rumours by confirming that they have reformed to play Coachella, as well as Primavera. Other acts to play Coachella include Alt-J, Vampire Weekend, Lou Reed, Passion Pit, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the xx, Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand, Bat For Lashes and New Order.
