Last night saw Lady Gaga performing at the White House staff inauguration ball, and some of the show was captured on film.

The 'Bad Romance' singer, who was singing to mark Barack Obama's second inauguration as United States President, wore a long white dress with bubble ball shoulder pads.

She played a white piano throughout the performace and sung a reworked version of her hit 'You And I'.

"You won twice," Gaga told the audience, who responded with wildly appreciative cheers.

Gaga also played her single 'Born This Way' and was joined on stage by jazz legend Tony Bennett at one point.

A collaborative project between Gaga and Bennett is said to be in the pipeline, and she recently released a jazz version of 'You And I' made with jazz musician Brian Newman.

While it might've recently been revealed that Beyonce allegedly mimed her rendition of Star Spangled Banner for the inauguration ceremony, the YouTube clip of Gaga's performance should dispell similiar accusations.

For the White House staff inauguration ball after Obama's first election, four years ago, Jay-Z reportedly performed, changing the lyrics of '99 Problems' to "I got 99 problems but George Bush ain't one."

In other news, German dance producer Zedd, who's working on Gaga's third album ARTPOP recently said that the new record is still quite a way from being finished.

In an interview with MTV the producer said: "We've been working on it for over a year now. There's still a lot of work left, so we're definitely gonna work on the project for the next month."

Fans desperate to hear the new Gaga record will have to wait just a little longer.
