Nicole Scherzinger has revealed she is planning to make a return to the UK in the summer, saying she is currently planning a tour - but will her British visit also include an extended stay for her X Factor role?

The singer has been working on her second solo album and has recently previewed the video to the record's lead single, 'Boomerang'. She has confirmed plans to return to the UK in the summer for a potential tour of the UK, saying: 

She tells Kiss FM: "Right now I'm really excited for all the hard work I put into my music to get that out."

"It's all about the music, and getting that out there. I can't wait to tour again."

The former Pussycat Doll also went on to tell the radio station that she would "probably" be touring the UK in the summer.

She also hinted that she would one day like to reunite with her former girlgroup, Pussycat Dolls, adding: "I love the girls, I miss them, I wish them the best," she explained. "I don't see why it wouldn't be possible sometime in the future."

Will.i.am produced track 'Boomerang' will be given its first radio play tomorrow (Thursday, January 24).
