The Weeknd has fallen in love with a fan-made video for his track ‘High For This’ so much that he’s made the clip the song’s official music video.

The video, which was made by Steeezericky and features model Tatiana Moreno, was posted to The Weeknd’s official YouTube channel on Saturday (January 19) with the message “fell in love with this fan made video…”

Grainy, glitchy footage is cut together with moody black and white shots and double exposures for the video, which is a brilliant accompaniment for the heartfelt and emotionally tense track.

At the start of January The Weeknd hinted that a follow up to his Trilogy collection could well arrive this year, after posting a screen shot of his computer’s desktop showing folders called ‘2013 untitled album’ and ‘2013 art work’.

In December he cryptically Tweeted “you bout to lose me for a bit. I’m bout to get back on my s**t.”

The Weeknd will embark on a seven-date UK tour in March, beginning in Manchester and concluding with four shows in London.
