Dave Grohl and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor have unveiled a track from Grohl's latest project, the Sound City feature film. Listen to 'From Can To Can't' Below.

Grohl, never far away from something utterly rock n roll, has been busy putting together a homage to the Sun City Studios where he first recorded in 1991 with Nirvana.

For the upcoming rock documentary, the Foo Fighters star has interviewed over 40 artists that have recorded in the studio using it's famous one-of-a-kind analog Neve board.

In an interview with KROQ, Grohl said: “The intention of the movie is really to inspire the next generation of kids to appreciate the simple human quality of music.

The success of Nirvana's Sun Studio recorded album Nevermind, led to Rage Against The Machine, Tool and Slipknot all recording music in the studio.

Watch 'From Can To Can't' below:

Slipknot's Corey Taylor said: ""No two albums sound the same coming out of that board because of the different love that you put into it, the different variables.”

“The thing about that Neve board is that it has such a personality.”

One of the soundtrack songs for the film was played during the radio interview and includes some haunting vocals from Taylor as well as the talents of Rick Neilson and Kyuss bassist, Scott Reader. The Slipknot singer explained that it all happened "effortlessly".

Grohl's documentary about the legendary recording studio will premiere in the US tomorrow (January 18).
