The Saturdays are trying to break America and, as part of their attempt, have performed on US talk show The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The girl group performed their new single 'What About Us' on their US TV debut, just hours after they'd also performed at the Golden Globes Awards.

New TV show Chasing The Saturdays is also due to debut on US TV soon, and the girls were there in order to promote it. The show starts on E! in America on 20 January, and fans in the UK can watch it from 3 February.

'What About Us' is the girls' first single from upcoming US EP Chasing The Saturdays, which shares its name with the upcoming TV show.

Other guests on the Jay Leno show were Billy Connelly and Nicki Minaj, who spoke about her rivalry with fellow judge of American Idol, Mariah Carey.

Watch The Saturdays' performance below:

The girls also recently appeared on Fashion Police, which saw Una Healy commenting on Justin Bieber.

She told Joan Rivers, "Justin Bieber was on a TV show with us and I remember I went in for the kiss on the cheek, and he's got baby soft skin."

Band member Rochelle added, "You sounded really creepy though! Maybe don't tell him that."
